Đistribution of Jancaea: Mt. Olympus of Thessalia, Greece. Jancaea is closely related to ( and has been sometimes included in ) Ramonda.
Đistribution of Ramonda: (50-)500- 2000(-2800)m, type species in Pyrenees and adjoining mountains, Spain; and Balkan Peninsula.
Đistribution of Haberlea: Rhodope and Balkan mountains 0f Bulgaria, Balkan Peninsula.

Jancaea Boiss. 1875, for Viktor Janka von Bulcs ( 1837-1890 ), a Hungarian botanist.
The type and only species of Jancaea: Jancaea heldreichii (Boiss.) Boiss.


Ramonda pyrenaica (type), Ramonda serbica 塞 爾 維 亞 鳳 凰 花
Ramonda Rich. 1805, for Louis-Francois Èlisabeth Ramon de Carbonnières ( 1755-1827 ), an eminent French physician, botanist and geologist. His main merit is the exploration of the Pyrenees, where Ramonda is found.
The type species of Ramonda: Ramonda pyrenaica Pers.

Haberlea rhodopensis (type)
Haberlea Friv. 1835, named for the Austro-Hungarian botanist Karl Konstantin Christian Haberle ( 1764-1832 ), who discovered the plant in the Rhodope mountains (Bulgaria).
